Attractively inaugurated Mallikatte Circle on Dec 22nd

Kadri: The attractively renovated Mallikatta Circle by Bhandary builders, will be inaugurated by DK In-charge Minister U T Khader in the presence of Mangaluru Mayor Bhaskar K at 7 pm on December 22nd.

Speaking to the media at Press Club on Thursday, Bhandary Builders proprietor Lakshmish Bhandary said the Mallikatta Circle was beautified to include an artwork designed by artist Rajendra Kedige. The metal work is done by Muhammed Imran and Gokul Raj has worked on the engineering aspect.

Tulunadu culture symbolized

“The artworks symbolises the culture of Tulunadu and comprises of details on Panjurli Paddana, Yakshagana, the Dravidian origin of Tulu language, poets Ratnakaravarni and Kumaravyasa. The circle is decorated with stone pillars, lighting, lawns and flower-bearing plants,” he explained.

CSR funds

The circle is a contribution to the smart city project by Bhandary builders and the project has been carried out under its CSR funds at a total cost of Rs 21 lakh, informed Lakshmish Bhandary.
