Mangaluru: In yet another twist in the auto explosion case, police officials have traced the man whose Aadhar card was used by the accused in the blast.

The card belonged to Premraj Hutagi, a railway employee in the Tumakuru division of Indian Railways.

He claimed that he does not have any connection with the incident and that he learnt of it only after the police informed him.

Hutagi lost his Aadhar card last year and as he had a unique ID with him, he applied for a new card.  “I never knew it would be misused to this extent,” he added.

As per Times Now reports, police officials have identified the prime suspect in the Mangaluru auto rickshaw blast.

The accused has been identified as Sharik, a resident of Shivamogga. He was out on bail at the time of the incident. He was earlier arrested for painting pro-terrorism graffiti in Mangaluru and was jailed under UAPA.
