Auto-rickshaw blast case: Accused Shariq’s house raided in Mysuru

Mangaluru: Police officials on Sunday conducted searches at the house of a man allegedly involved in an autorickshaw blast.
The accused identified as Mohammed Shariq, 24, hailing from Teerthahalli is a terror accused charged with links to Islamic State (IS).
Shariq’s rented house in Madahalli, located around 13 km from Mysuru was raided on Saturday afternoon. A bomb squad was also deployed in the area.
It is said that Shariq had rented the room last month and had told the house owner that he was in the city for “mobile repair training”.
