Bengaluru: Amid the raging controversy over Azaan and Hanuman Chalisa on loudspeakers, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has said that everyone should follow Supreme Court’s order on the noise levels.
Speaking to reporters at the Vidhana Soudha, the CM said the Supreme Court has already given clear guidelines. “Everyone must abide by that order,” he said.
Further, he said, “I have notified the police officers of this matter. We are looking at what is happening in the state and what is happening in different states.”
Bommai opined that the issue should be sorted out amicably.
