Bantwal: Auto driver killed after being hit by car

Bantwal: An auto-rickshaw driver was killed after being hit by a car at Kadabettu Cross near Vagga here.

The deceased has been identified as Vinayak Pai, a resident of Kempugudde.

It is gathered that Vinayak Pai was on his way to a hotel to buy breakfast for the laborers working in his house.

At this time a car, proceeding towards Mangaluru from Belthangadi rammed into his autorickshaw. A seriously injured Vinayak died en route to the hospital.

It is said that the accident took place when Vinayak Pai was going to a hotel in Wagga to bring breakfast to the laborers working in his house.

Bantwal traffic police visited the spot and registered a case.
