
Bantwal: BJP foot march called off after publicity vehicle collides with bike, rider killed

The BJP foot march was called off on Monday. January 16 after their publicity vehicle collided with a bike near Narahari Hill of Kalladka killing the bike rider.
The deceased is identified as Vijith (35), a resident of Beltangady.
The accident took place moving from Melkar to Kalladka. Vijith who was coming from the opposite direction collided with the Isuzu vehicle. Though he was taken to Thumbay hospital, he succumbed to his injuries.
MLA Rajesh Naik visited the hospital and consoled the members of Vijith’s family. The BJP activists also visited the hospital.
A case in this connection is registered at the Bantwal traffic police station.
