Bantwal: Centering sheets, areca nut theft; Two arrested

Police officials have arrested two persons for stealing centering sheets and areca nuts in Bantwal.

The arrested accused have been identified as Mohammed Ansaf (34), a resident of Bollari, Tumbe village and Nawaz (24), a resident of Madaka.

The accused stole 89 iron centering sheets worth Rs 97,900 belonging to Farooq near an under-construction building at Poorlippadi in Baltila village.

They also stole 401 kgs of areca nuts worth Rs 90,000 under Bantwal police station limits.
