Bantwal: Four injured in head-on collision between auto and bike

Bantwal: Four persons sustained injuries in a head-on collision between an auto rickshaw and a bike at Bhandaribettu on Tuesday, May 30 afternoon.

The rickshaw driver Taranath, its passenger Shankar, bike rider, Jostilin D’Souza, a resident of Ujire, and pillion rider Rashmit were injured.

As per reports, the bike rider was coming from Belthangadi and the autorickshaw was proceeding towards Bantwal from BC road.

The rickshaw and the bike were damaged in the accident.

Traffic police visited the spot and registered a case.
