Bantwal: Police arrested a husband and wife duo for misusing the photo of a young woman on Youtube videos.
The young woman from Bantwal had lodged a police complaint about her photograph being used on a Youtube channel without her consent.
Acting on the complaint, Bantwal police have arrested Harish and his wife Anusha from Shivamogga. They are both software engineers, police said.
According to the police, the accused couple ran a youtube channel called ‘Kannada light’ and made money by uploading attractive videos for viewers. The young woman’s photo was reportedly used in a video related to astrology witho ut her consent.
