Belagavi: Soldier martyred in Srinagar encounter

Belagavi: A soldier from Nerli village in the district here attained martyrdom while fighting with armed terrorists in Jammu & Kashmir’s capital on the night of Wednesday, December 2.
Chetan Basavaraj Patil (27) has been serving in the army for the past eight years.
Patil was engaged and was supposed to be married in January 2021.
Patil’s mortal remains were brought to Nerli via Pune on Friday, December 4 for the funeral.
