Beltangady: Cops intercept motorbike; seize 1,310 grams of ganja worth Rs 45,850

Belthangady: Belthangady police officials intercepted a bike at Sabarabail in Kuvettu village and seized 1,310 grams of ganja on Friday, September 17.

It is said that the bike was coming from the direction of Punjalkatte and two people Muhamed Rafiq and Naufal have been arrested by the officials.

The accused were carrying ganja worth Rs 45,850   without permission or license.  Apart from the ganja, police have also seized the two-wheeler used for the crime.

An FIR has been registered and further investigations are  underway.
