Belthangady: Lost trekker found after overnight search operation

A youth who had gone missing while trekking toward Bandaje Falls through the Ranizhari area of Mudigere has been found on Monday.

The youth has been identified as Paresh Kishanlal Agarwal, a software engineer residing at JP Nagar in Bengaluru.

According to reports, Agarwal had arrived in Ranizhari on his motorcycle before embarking on his trek toward Bandaje Falls. However, as evening approached, he lost his way and immediately contacted the police control room for assistance.

He was reportedly found near a stream in Bandaje after an arduous search by the police and forest department. It is learned that the trekker was brought to Beltangady Police Station and later taken to Balur Police Station.
