Bengaluru: An 11-year-old has died after he fell off the terrace of a 14-floor building in South Bengaluru on Thursday afternoon.
The boy has been identified as Jagan, who stayed on the 11th floor of the Sobha Valley apartment in Banashankari.
The boy was reportedly home alone and reached the building’s terrace via the emergency exit which is always kept open for emergency purposes.
The parents discovered the boy’s body on the balcony of the fifth floor, which houses the apartment complex’s clubhouse.
Fellow residents of the apartment had shifted the boy to a nearby hospital, where he was declared ‘brought dead’ by the doctors.
