Bengaluru: Nine rowdy sheeters have been arrested from Bengaluru’s JJ Nagar and Vidyaranyapura areas by the Organised Crime Wing of the city unit of the Central Crime Branch (CCB).

The city’s Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) Sandeep Patil said on Saturday that the accused persons are habitual offenders with past involvement in criminal cases.

Earlier, in June, CCB officials had arrested a 38 year old gun runner and two of his associates who were supplying countrymade weapons to the city based gangsters.

The team had seized three country made pistols and 15 rounds of ammunition from them.
