Bengaluru: With only a few months left for the 2023 Karnataka Assembly polls, the ‘political war’ in Karnataka has begun.

On Thursday, BJP took to Twitter to taunt and lambast JDS with a series of tweets.

“H D Kumaraswamy has clearly understood that the people of Mandya will not support him in the upcoming assembly elections for the betrayals that he has made. People of the Old Mysuru belt have understood the political gameplay of ‘secularism’. They will give a befitting reply to HDK and his party in the upcoming elections”, BJP tweeted.

In another tweet, it wrote, “Prominent communities of the Old Mysuru belt have gone against JDS and HDK knows about it. Hence, he has got down to play the card of appeasement politics. The best example for it is his ‘Pancharatna Yatra’.”

“JDS’ ‘Pancharatna Yatra’ is not a pro-people campaign, but promotions for five people from his family. The campaign has lost value and failed miserably. JDS has also realised it”, it added.
