Bengaluru: Youth flashes at friend inside car and tries to rape her; arrested

Bengaluru: A 23-year-old was caught red-handed by the public for allegedly assaulting his friend in a car.

The accused identified as Hemanth has now been arrested.  It is said that the victim was asked to accompany Hemanth and her friend for a joyride in his car.

Around 08:30 pm victim’s friend requested Hemanth to stop the car owing to nature’s call following which she deboarded the car.

After she stepped out of the car, Hemanth allegedly touched the victim inappropriately, flashed at her, and tried to rape her.

Hemanth was arrested after the victim raised an alarm, and few people came to her rescue.

At the same time, the victim’s friend came back to the car and the police were immediately informed about the incident.
