Bengaluru: Youth stabs college student for rejecting proposal; arrested

Bengaluru: A Bengaluru youth was arrested for allegedly stabbing a college student after she rejected his proposal at Manjunathnagar in Bagalagunte area.

The woman was on her way to college when the accused, Uday, stopped her and proposed to her. The victim rejected the proposal, following which Uday took out a knife from his pocket and repeatedly stabbed her in the neck and thigh.

People who witnessed the incident caught Uday and handed over to the police after thrashing him. The woman has been admitted to the hospital and her condition is said to be serious.

Uday had proposed to the girl earlier but she had rejected his proposals. Police officials have arrested Uday and further investigation is underway.
