Bengaluru’s killer pothole claims the life of physically-challenged man

Bengaluru: A deadly pothole in Vishweshwaraiah layout has claimed the life of a physically challenged man who fell off his Scooter after his two-wheeler landed in a pothole on the road on Monday night.

The victim has been identified as Kurshid Ahmed. It is said that it was a man-made pot hole dug up for some sanitary pipeline work and left without asphalting.

The water filled pothole was deep and the moment the front tyre, entered the hole, his vehicle turned upside down and he fell. He was rushed to a hospital but later succumbed to the injuries

Minister for Revenue R Ashok on Monday has instructed the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) to carry out road repair work within a month and fill all the potholes quickly.
