Mangaluru: The Bajpe police have alerted public about the dreaded Irani gang, whose members come in the guise of selling blankets. Apparently, the gang is already active in the district of Chikkamagaluru town and other areas of that district.
The modus operandi of the gang members is to approach the public as blanket sellers during day time, survey the house and loot the house later.
The public has been requested to inform the nearest police station on coming across such gangs or suspicious people.
