BJP Fails to Siege CPI (M) Office in Bengaluru; State BJP Leaders Arrested

Bengaluru: Police arrested Karnataka state BJP unit leaders including state party unit president BS Yeddyurappa (BSY), Shobha Karandlaje, R Ashok and party workers when they were on their way through a procession to siege CPI (M) office at Basavanagudi in Bengaluru on Monday.
The march in the state capital was organised to support Jana Raksha Yatra, a protest march being organised by BJP unit in Kerala to condemn CPI (M) sponsored murders of RSS, BJP workers in Kerala state.
The procession held in Bengaluru on Monday urged CPI (M) to end political violence in the country especially in Kerala as number of members of various Hindu outfits is being targeted by the communist party workers each year.
BJP leaders failed to siege the CPI (M) office as the police took the party leaders, workers into their custody to prevent them from entering the premises of the party office in here in Basavanagudi.
