Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said that the BJP would likely release the official candidate list for Karnataka in the first week of April.
He further said, “The first list released by the Congress on Saturday includes a majority of the current and former MLAs. There isn’t a noteworthy candidate. Siddaramaiah’s constituency was decided by him and his party.”
“We will field a strong candidate against Siddaramaiah,” Bommai added.
