
B’luru: Kengeri police arrest vehicle thief

Bengaluru: Kengeri police arrested a youth who used to steal two-wheelers and use the sale proceeds to live a luxurious life.
The arrested is Imran Khan, a resident of Kengeri beedi workers colony.
According to the police, Khan used to steal vehicles at night hours from the parking lot of the residence by tampering with its handlock.
They seized 11 two-wheelers and 2 autos valuing Rs 8.30 lakhs from his possession.
Recently he had conducted theft at the residence of a Pavitra, a resident of Kengeri Bhairava Nagar. Police conducted a probe based on her complaint and nabbed Khan.
Following his arrest, 7 two-wheeler theft cases registered at Kengeri police station have been solved. Police said that an investigation is ongoing to identify the remaining vehicle owners.
