Bengaluru: Central Crime Branch sleuths raided a store located on SP road for selling counterfeit electronic accessories of branded companies and confiscated items worth over Rs 1 crore.
Acting on credible information the police conducted a raid at the store, owned by Mohan Lal alias Jacky. They seized mobile and other electronic accessories, including pen drives and Bluetooth devices worth Rs 1 crore. Mohan however was not present at the store during the raids.
CCB police said that Mohan was a wholesale dealer of mobile phone accessories, pen drives, memory cards etc, and sold these items to retail outlets, customers in Bengaluru and neighbouring towns. He kept both genuine as well as counterfeit items of brands such as Apple, Samsung, Vivo, Oppo, Realme and boAT Bluetooth speakers etc.
The customers, CCB added, were usually not given any bills for their purchases
