Bommai to sign up for organ donation, urges others to follow lead

Udupi: On the occasion of World Organ Donation Day, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai urged people to come forward to donate their organs.

Stating that he will be signing up for organ donation, Bommai said, “Organ donation can help save lives of others. If we can give this gift of life to others, why not?. People should consider this and come forward to donate their organs.”

On the rising Covid cases in the state, the Chief Minister said that he will discuss the situation with a panel of experts upon reaching Bengaluru and will chalk a suitable action plan based on their advice.
