Bengaluru: Luxury watches worth Rs 2 crore were stolen from a store on 100 Feet Road, Indiranagar in the intervening night of January 4 and 5.
The theft took place at Zimson Times Pvt Ltd on the intervening night of January 4 and 5. The incident came to light when the building owner noticed that the door of the store was broken and informed its owner Shamoeel.
Shamoeel rushed to the store and noticed that the burglars had broken the lock and the glass cases where the watches were kept.
In his complaint, filed with Indiranagar police on Wednesday, Shamoeel said that the worth of the stolen watches — 129 Rado, 29 Longines, and 13 Omega — is estimated to be around Rs 2 crore.
Police visited the store with Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) experts and sniffer dogs’ squads and collected evidence.
The police are examining the CCTV footage in the store and nearby vicinity for any clues on the suspects
