Udupi: In an incident of road rage, the driver and conductor of a private bus were roughed up by few persons allegedly for not giving space to their car to move ahead at Seethanadi near Agumbe on Tuesday July 2.
It is gathered that the car occupants who were in an inebriated state not only assaulted the bus driver, conductor but also snatched away Rs 20,000 from their possession. The whole incident was recorded in the CCTV camera installed in the bus.
It must be noted that the road stretch on Agumbe Ghat is quite narrow at many places making it difficult for allowing space for vehicles to overtake.
