Bus-tipper accident at Belman; teenager dies

Karkala: A teenager lost her life in an accident that occurred between a private bus and a tipper lorry at Jatra in Belman on February 23rd. Two more passengers have suffered serious injuries and have been admitted to a private hospital.
However, over 20 passengers escaped with minor injuries and have been shifted to a nearby hospital for first aid.
The deceased teenager is identified as Mokshika (18), a second PUC student.
The force of the collision between the heavy vehicles has totally damaged the front parts of both the vehicles. Karla police visited the spot and are investigating the accident.
