Bengaluru: A man and a woman were killed on the spot in an accident on the Electronics City flyover when their bike was hit by a speeding car and the two were thrown off the flyover last night.
According to the Bengaluru Traffic Police, the impact of the collision was such that the bike-borne persons were tossed into the air, after which they fell on the service road beneath the flyover from a height of 30 to 35 feet.
The incident took place around 9.45 pm above the lay-by in Singasandra on Tuesday night. The identity of the victims killed in the accident is yet to be ascertained.
