Car falls off bridge in Haveri – Four dead, six injured

Haveri: Four persons lost their lives and six others were injured when their car fell off a bridge near the Halageri bypass in Ranebennur, Haveri district. It is gathered that the group was en route to visit Tirupati.

The deceased have been identified as Suresh Veerappa Jadi (45), Aishwarya Erappa Barki (22), Chetana Prabhuraja Samagandi (7), and Pavithra Prabhuraja Samagandi (28).

The injured, Channaveerappa Jadi, Savitra Jadi, Vikasha Honnappa Barki, Honnappa Neelappa Barki, Prabhuraja Eerappa Samagandi, and Geeta Honnappa Barki, have been admitted to a hospital in Davangere for treatment.

The vehicle fell from the NH4PB road down to the service road. The cause of the accident is currently under investigation.
