Doddaballarpura: A car went up in flames after its driver lost control of the vehicle and rammed into an electric pole on Ellupur road here.
The car driver meanwhile escaped with minor injuries. Fire personnel rushed to the spot and extinguished the fire
According to locals, the accident was caused due to negligent driving.
The electric pole was damaged due to the incident. BESCOM people visited the spot and have undertaken repair works resulting in power cuts at places.
