Car-tanker collision kills 5

Bantwal: Five people died on the spot after the car they were travelling in crashed head on with a tanker near the Brahmarakootlu toll gate on the morning of Friday, July 19.
The precise number of passengers’ aboard the car is yet to be confirmed. Apparently, the car was coming from Bengaluru and the tanker was approaching from Mangaluru when the ghastly accident took place near the toll gate.
The accident threw traffic out of gear. Bantwal traffic police rushed to the spot and are attempting to normalize vehicular movement.
