Karkala: Police have booked a case against five Bajarang Dal activists for attempt to murder charges here.
It has been reported that Bajarang Dal leader Mahesh Shenoy and four others attacked Sheikh Mohsin with lethal weapons here at Banglegudde.
Mohsin, who had sustained grievous head injuries in the incident, has been hospitalised. He is said to be out of danger.
The police have registered cases and the hunt is on to nab the suspects.
