Cash, jewelry stolen from locked house in Bramhavar

Bramhavar: In a case of burglary reported at Thenku Birthi near Bramhavar, thieves entered a locked house and decamped with Rs one lakh cash and jewelry valuing Rs 1.2 lakhs.
The theft took place at the house belonging to a Mohammed Asif Ameer Saheb sometime between February 5 afternoon and February 6 evening.
It is gathered that Mohammed had built the house recently and had left for Muscat with his family. Mohammed had handed his house keys to Ziyad, his relative for its maintenance.
The housemaid who visited Mohammed’s house for cleaning informed about the theft to Ziyad who then filed a complaint at Bramhavar police station.
Police are investigating the case.
