CCB police caught boozing in viral video; Compol orders probe

Mangaluru: A video of eight CCB police personnel allegedly consuming liquor at a bar while on-duty has gone viral on social media.

Taking notice of the video, City police Commissioner N Shashi Kumar has ordered a probe into the incident under the leadership of Mangaluru DCP Hariram Shankar.

The incident is said to have taken place near Kuttar. In the video, the CCB personnel were spotted drinking and lunching with a man with a criminal background. The police car was seen parked outside the bar.

It is gathered the DCP Shankar has summoned the CCB personnel for an enquiry.
