CD case: In new video woman says honey trap report is false

Bengaluru: In a new video the woman seen in the sex video involving MLA Ramesh Jarkiholi has stated that she never said that she was used by journalists Naresh and Shravan to honey trap Jarkiholi.

It was reported on Monday that the woman had made a statement in front of the SIT probing the case that Naresh and Shravan, former journalists and allegedly the kingpins of the case, had used her for honey trapping Jarkiholi.

“I never said anything like that in front of the SIT officials. I am committed to the statements I made earlier. The 164 statement I gave in front of the judge were given under pressure. So, I have requested the investigating officials to retake my statements,” she said in the video.

The woman accused Jarkiholi of not cooperating in the investigation and falsifying as a COVID-19 patient to escape trial.

She also said that she has talked to her parents over the phone and did not give change her mind before giving any statement.
