Chikkamagalur: Angry over son’s PUBG addiction; man accidentally shoots wife

Chikkamagalur: Angered over his son’s PUBG addiction, a man accidentally shot his wife dead with a gun in Chikkamagaluru district Tuesday.

The deceased has been identified as Maimuna. She was shot by her husband Imtiyaz who works as a security guard in a coffee estate.

It is said Imtiyaz’s son who was playing PUBG on Tuesday took a break to charge his mobile phone and removed Imtiyaz’s phone which was on charge.

This angered Imtiyaz who threatened to kill him by pointing the gun at him. Mumtaz tried to stop the fight but Imtiyaz accidentally pulled the trigger and the bullet hit Maimuna’s chest.

She was rushed to a nearby hospital and the doctors declared her brought dead. Imtiyaz was later arrested by the police officials.
