Chikkamagaluru: Miscreants hack youth to death in broad daylight

Chikkamagaluru: A youth was attacked and brutally killed in the middle of the road at Mathavara village in taluk, sources said.

The deceased has been identified as Prakrit (29).

The incident occurred when Prakrit was on his way home from the coffee plantation in the morning. The assailants brutally attacked him with deadly weapons and fled from the spot.

The barbaric killing in broad daylight on a public road has shocked the locals.

The Superintendent of Police Akshay has inspected the spot of the crime. Further investigations are underway.
