Chikkamagaluru: Youth electrocuted while picking peppers

Chikkamagaluru: A youth in the district here was killed by electrocution while harvesting peppers.

The incident took place at Koluru village in Mudigere taluk

The young man was identified as Mahalingam (25).

He was standing on an aluminium ladder in the coffee plantation, picking peppers when unknowingly electricity passed through the ladder.

The incident took place within Banakal police station limits.
