Chitradurga: Three young men died on the spot in a collision between a two-wheeler and an ambulance on Hollakere Road in the outskirts of the city on Monday night.
The deceased have been identified as Kantaraj (22) from Sajjanakere village in Chitradurga district, Srikanth (20) from Karuvinakatte in Chitradurga district and Nanjunda (20).
All three of them are painters and were returning home in Chitradurga from Hollakere after a job when they collided with the ambulance.
Locals and police later transported the dead to the district hospital.
