Chitradurga: One killed, ten injured in car accident

A person was killed and ten others injured after the car in which they were traveling overturned near KR Halli Gate in Chitradurga’s Hiriyur taluk on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as Raju (40), a native of Maharashtra. The injured have been admitted to the district hospital for treatment.

The mishap took place when the car occupants were headed to Maharashtra after visiting Tirupati in their Bolero vehicle.

A case has been registered at the Hiriyur police station.
