Close shave for man as car goes up in flames

Shivamogga: A Mangaluru resident had a lucky escape after his car caught fire due to a short circuit near Mandagadde in Tirthahalli taluk when he was headed towards Mangaluru from Shivamogga.

The car owner, Shodhan stopped the car on the way after he smelled smoke. The mishap took place at that time.

Even though he informed the Fire Emergency team, the car was completely burnt by the team arrived at the spot.

A case is registered in Maluru Police station in this regard.
