CM Bommai offers bagina to KRS, Kabini dams

Mysuru: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai along with his wife offered ‘bagina’ to Krishanaraj Sagar (KRS) and Kabini dams, located at Srirangapatna and Beechanahalli of H D Kote, respectively on Wednesday.

Addressing the media after offering bagina he said, “There are several confusions related to the Kabini National Park. We will sort it out soon and begin various works there.”

Speaking about the development of H D Kote, he said, “As per the Nanjundappa Committee Report, H D Kote taluk needs more development. Striving towards the overall development of the taluk, we will have more schools and Public Health Centres (PHC) developed. For this, sufficient funds have already been released to the MLAs account”.

Meanwhile, CM Bommai said that the Deputy Commissioner was already directed to make necessary arrangements to the people of recent flood-affected areas in the Mysuru district.

Several ministers, legislators, and officials were present during the event.
