Bengaluru: Deputy Chief Minister G Parameshwara on Tuesday asserted that the JD(S)-Congress coalition government led by HD Kumaraswamy would complete its full five-year term. Parameshwara said he was saying this in the capacity as the KPCC president.

This reply of his was to the scepticism raised by reporters after the recent video of former chief minister Siddaramaiah surfaced online over his comments on the current government and also on being asked as to why was Siddaramiah not showing the same enthusiasm as he did at the time of government formation.
“My answer is the same even if you ask me the question several times. However, one cannot say what happens when in politics,” he said. He said he would hold discussions with the chief minister over appointing district in-charge ministers.
