Mangaluru: The anti-Hindu agenda of the Congress is evident from its silence about the children of its leaders being jailed for “jihadi” activities, claimed MLA Dr. Bharat Shetty Y.
Congress leaders have always been denouncing Hindutva. Congress leaders, who have been falsely blaming the BJP over the Cooker bomb blast, are silent when children of some Congress party leaders were caught carrying out “jihadi” activities. But they have not condemned it, he alleged.
“Congress leader Siddaramaiah has repeatedly tried to bring a bad repute to the Hindu community by accusing the BJP party of standing in favour of Hindutva as communal. However, even after knowing that there are anti-national elements inside the houses of congress party leaders, he doesn’t have the courage to denounce them,” Bharat Shetty said.
“The BJP has always worked for the betterment of the Hindu community, but the Congress has been busy in appeasement of a community for vote bank and a son of a Congress leader has been jailed on charges of anti-national activities,” he said.
Dr. Bharath Shetty said that Congress should clearly state its stand on “jihadi extremism”.
