Cong MLA Tanveer Sait announces retirement from electoral politics

Former minister and Karnataka Congress MLA Tanveer Sait announced his retirement from electoral politics citing health reasons.
Following his annoucement his supporters thronged his residence in Mysuru in protest against his decision and two of them threatened to commit suicide.
Sait is a 5-time MLA from Narasimharaja Assembly constituency of Mysuru district. He had served as a minister for a couple of years during the Siddaramaiah government.
