BJP MLA BY Vijayendra slammed Congress leaders over their silence regarding offering the post of chief minister or even deputy chief minister to Lingayat after using them as a pedestal for its greed of power.

In a series of tweets, Vijayendra wrote, “After using Lingayats as Pedestal for its greed of power, Stalwarts of Congress hv suddenly gone silent whn it comes to offering CM or even DCM. Ironically, evn aftr winning a max of 39 MLAs frm Congrs,Lingayats finds itself without any strong Voice to Demand Rightful Positions.”

“True face of Congress has been unveiled for the infinite time. Congress which has always mistreated Lingayats can never do real justice to the community. Its BJP which truly represents Anna Basavanna & his teachings, providing justice to all by following his philosophy.”

In yet another tweet he wrote, Hope the citizens of Karnataka soon realize their folly of falling for the lies of Congress & make amends by standing with @BJP4India & @narendramodi ji in the service of “Maa Bharathi”. “Jai Bharatha, Jai Karnataka”
