Ramanagara: Congress MLC C.M. Lingappa’s son Chandrashekar joined BJP party ahead of Ramanagara byelection.
MLC C.M. Lingappa had opposed the Congress party’s decision to give up the byelections to thier coalition party – JD(S).
Chandrashekar joined the saffron party at BJP state president B.S. Yeddyurappa’s residence here on Wednesday.
Congress leader C.M. Lingappa had openly opposed the ‘surrender’ to the coalition partner and even warning that he will work against the JD(S) candidate in the byelection scheduled for November 3.
