Bengaluru: The Lokayukta Court on Wednesday denied advance bail to 61 assistant public prosecutors (APPs), blamed for securing occupations through abnormalities in the recruitment exam.
H T Ravi, an advocate from Thirthahalli, Shivamogga, had made a protest before the Lokayukta in 2012 claiming abnormalities in the examinations.
The Bengaluru Urban Lokayukta police had documented an additional charge sheet saying 61 APPs were recipients of abnormalities in the exam. Dreading capture, the APPs had moved toward the court for anticipatory bail.
