COVID-19: 51-year-old woman from Jokatte dies, DK death toll rises to 13

Mangaluru: A 51-year-old woman died of COVID-19 in the district on Sunday, June 28.
The deceased is a resident of Jokatte. She was suffering from tuberculosis and was admitted to a private hospital in the city where was tested positive for COVID-19.
The district reported 3 COVID-19 deaths on Sunday. Earlier in the day a 57-year-old woman and 31-year-old man had succumbed to coronavirus.
The death toll in the district has reached 13. While 11 died of COVID-19 two others died of non-corona related issues.
