COVID-19: All journalists, police personnel in B’luru will be tested, says Anil Kumar

Bengaluru: Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagar Palike (BBMP) Commissioner, BH Anil Kumar informed that all journalists and police personnel in the city will be tested for COVID19 by the state government starting from Thursday, April 23.
Taking to Twitter Ani Kumar wrote, “All journalists and police personnel in #Bengaluru who have been working during the #lockdown will be tested for #COVID19 by the Karnataka Govt. They are also a part of our city’s #CoronaWarriors and hoping that they and their families have nothing to worry.”

Anil Kumar also shared a list of guidelines and requested all the journalists to follow it.
The decision was taken after 53 journalists tested positive for COVID-19 in neighboring Maharashtra.
